Description:

The UA disc crusher will effectively reduce 1/4 inch material to -150 mesh at a speed of 50 to 200 pounds per hour. The UA crusher is driven by a V-belt and operates at a speed of 900 RPM. They are equipped with a standard set of ferroalloy grinding discs (255 Brinell hardness) and have multiple motor configurations to meet laboratory applications.

Other materials for grinding plates can also be used, such as low phosphorus carbon steel, manganese steel, chromium alloy, and alumina ceramics. Unless otherwise specified, thermal relays provide 220 volt operation. Provided safety protection devices.

UA is very suitable for grinding operations that require reducing -6.3 mm material to 100 microns. Based on the hardness and fragility of the material, the grinding speed ranges from 50 pounds per hour (for very hard materials) to 200 pounds per hour (for soft limestone). To avoid iron contamination, it is recommended to use ceramic plates (010F-092, 010F-093).

UA dust cover:

This unit has been specially designed to be used with UA crushers. With its downward airflow design and enclosed workspace, it can remove dust during grinding operations. The easily replaceable filter element minimizes the operator's attention.
